Where we serve

Goldsboro and the towns around it, from Pikeville and Fremont in the north to Mount Olive and Seven Springs in the south.

Towns we cover

Each area has its own water source, housing, and weather, and that affects how water heaters wear out. Pick your town for local details.

The area at a glance

Goldsboro’s city water comes from the Neuse River. Most of the rest of the area is on groundwater, either from Wayne Water District, another water district, a town system, or a private well. Groundwater here carries some iron and runs slightly acidic in places, which means sediment in the tank and faster wear on the anode rod. Annual flushing is worth doing either way.

The Neuse River also floods. Record crests at Goldsboro came in Hurricanes Matthew (2016) and Floyd (1999), and Florence (2018) came close. River towns like Seven Springs were hit hardest, and any heater that sat in floodwater needs to be inspected before it’s used again.
